WE'VE CRACKED THE 50 HOTELS MARK - AND THERE'S MORE TO COME!
The FIFA World Cup has come and gone (and wasn't it great), we've opened our 50th hotel - and we're celebrating our Silver Anniversary on August 1, 2010.
City Lodge Lynnwood (205 rooms), situated in the Lynnwood Bridge complex, our 50th hotel, is fully open and eagerly awaiting your business or leisure visit. It opened in time for the FIFA World Cup and followed hard on the heels of our 48th and 49th hotels - Road Lodge Southgate (118 rooms) and Road Lodge Bloemfontein Airport (66 rooms). Earlier this year we opened City Lodge Fourways (211 rooms), City Lodge OR Tambo Airport (303 rooms) and Road Lodge Port Elizabeth Airport (90 rooms).
The great news about our latest expansion burst is that the eastern side of Pretoria, southern Johannesburg and the "City of Roses" now each have more quality hotels rooms to meet your needs.
Not to be outdone, Town Lodge Sandton (Grayston Drive) has been extended by 70 rooms - it now offers 212 value-for-money rooms in this important market.
Our next hotel to make its debut will be City Lodge Hatfield (187 rooms) in Pretoria - which will open in September/October of 2010 - and Town Lodge Port Elizabeth (204 rooms) - which will open in the fourth quarter.
By the end of 2010, our group will offer you no fewer than 52 hotels with 6,443 rooms, across four brands, situated in all nine of South Africa's provinces.
And you can bet that we're working hard on finding other suitable sites to develop more hotels, domestically and internationally, to give you more great accommodation options into the future.

| Road Lodge Umhlanga awaits you It’s hotel number 44 in the City Lodge Hotels group, it's the biggest Road Lodge in the country (with 125 rooms) and the great news is that it's open from mid August. Road Lodge Umhlanga, the group's 5th hotel in Kwazulu-Natal, is adjacent to the Gateway shopping and entertainment complex, an ideal location for both business and leisure travelers. Nearby City Lodge Umhlanga Ridge has developed a strong clientele for itself over the past few years and there is every reason to believe that Road Lodge Umhlanga has a bright future ahead of it as the demand for quality accommodation continues to grow in and around the Umhlanga area. |
